At the age of 31, Badea took his first major step into politics by proposing and leading the Department for Romanian Communities Abroad. In this role, he addressed the growing needs of Romanians living beyond the country\u2019s borders.<\/p>\n
As Secretary of State, he implemented programs focused on preserving the cultural and linguistic heritage of Romanian communities in neighboring countries, including Moldova, Ukraine, Serbia, and Bulgaria.
